How do I know if my shipments are on time? Learn about the EDD Analysis.

Overview



While a package is in transit, consumers often have the question WISMO - "Where is my package? ". In order to further provide more accurate Estimated Delivery Dates, "EDD", we provide the On-time Shipmentss dashboard to match your custom EDD. The consumers can organize their pickup schedule more rationally, improve store satisfaction and reputation.

The dashboard gives you an insight into the overall data and details of the on-time delivery to assist you in considering whether the your custom EDD is reasonable or not, and also reflects the transportation performance of the carrier.

1. How to view the On-time Shipments dashboard



Go to your Shopify admin panel and click to open the "17TRACK" App.
Click "Analytics" in the left navigation, then click on the tab "On-time Shipments" to switch.
The first time you view the data analysis, the data under the default filters will be displayed and you can customize your filters as desired.



2. Use the filters to set the range you wish to observe



Store filter
If your account is connected to more than one store, this filter item will be displayed for viewing data from different stores. Default is All Stores.

Create time
You can choose the time base for filtering the shipments, the default is the create time, you can change it to the order time or delivered time.

Time filter
You can select any time period within the last 180 days, the default is the last 30 days. When combined with create time/order time, if the create time you select is the last 180 days, the data entered within 180 days will be screened.

Location filter
All destinations and origins included in the account can be selected and filtered for matching data. Use 'or' for similar options and 'and' between different options.

Carrier filter
All origin and destination carriers included in the account can be selected and filtered for matching data. Use 'or' for similar options and 'and' between different options.



3. Check the overview datas



Here you can find: Overview datas on the on-time delivery of all shipments in the filter range. Click the arrow on the right to check the detailed data on Shipments page.

On-time rate
Percentage of parcels that are delivered within the EDD (among all delivered parcels for which an EDD is available).

EDD Coverage
Percentage of tracked shipments for which an EDD is available (including both carrier's official EDD and custom EDDs).

Late shipments
Number of parcels delivered beyond the EDD.

Overdue shipments
Number of parcels that have exceeded the EDD and yet to deliver.



4. On-time shipments over time



Here you can find: The phased status and trend of shipment deliveries over time for all shipments in the filtered range. Click on the colored button below to switch between datas.

Day/Week/Month
Use this selector to switch between different time length.



5. On-time status distribution



Here you can find: The percentage and number of on-time statuses for all shipments in the filter range.



6. Delivery performance



Here you can find: The percentage and number of on-time statuses for all shipments in the filter range. Move your mouse to view specific data.

Horizontal axis: Negative numbers are days of early delivery, positive numbers are days of late delivery
Vertical Axis: Number of corresponding shipments.

Same as expected
Shipments delivered within the range of EDD

Early
Shipments delivered earlier than EDD (days are alculated at the earliest time in the range).

Late
Shipments delivered later than EDD(days are calculated at the latest time in the range).

Here you can find: Delivery performance of shipments on each route in the filter range.



8. On-time shipment by carrier



Here you can find: Delivery performance of shipments by carriers in the filter range.
